My Other Weapon Options
I still have 1 more raid before the this week’s lock ends and what might possibly be my last chance at the weapon I want. But just in case I’d like to look ahead and see what other things I might be able to get and how they compare. The previous computations I made didn’t have a normal Shin’ka without upgrades but it was obvious that it was still better than the rest....

Planning Shado-Pan Assault Strength Gear for My DK
Looking at the new gear I can eventually acquire from vendors in the new patch I make a rough plan of the order of purchase and adjust depending on the possibility of raid loots. Neutral Striker’s Battletags - Starting with the fact reputation serves as a gate we have necklaces as the first available gear off the bat. This has good stats for DKs and I can see myself getting this right away....

Mounting Money Sinks
Currently in Mists there are 50 mounts not counting the new RaF reward and the MoP CE. Of this 50 let’s put aside the jewelcrafting panthers first since to make the epic one then a second set of the rares to learn would cost a million gold if unchanged. Worst Week of Raid Finder (so far)
This week I won nothing on raid finder for my DK, Warrior, and Mage. I guess part of it is also since I pass on a lot more things recently cause I already have them or something better from normal mode or vp vendor. After 5 weeks of raid finder I guess I’m still a little ahead with the number I’ve looted: DK 7 Warrior 6 Pally 6 Mage 6 Druid 5 This is with each having had 1 week...

Stat Weights
4.3 improvements to the Unholy DK’s stats is an increase in Strength and fixing Crit mechanics. Most sources now put crit above mastery and for gearing I’ll be using the stat weights on sonofalich.com. Str 3.65 Hit (to cap) 3.00 Haste 1.89 Crit 1.85 Mastery 1.55 Expertise (to cap) 0.99

Starting Things Up
It’s been a little over a year since I’ve started to play WoW again. It’s a new server, new guild, new class, and a new main. Cataclysm is now in 4.3 and things are looking up for Unholy DKs. Mostly I’ll just be using this so I can keep track of how I’m playing my DK.
